영국에서 운전할 수 있는 법적 연령은 17세이지만 16세 동안 신청할 수 있습니다. 14세인 경우 운전 면허증으로 운전하는 몇 가지 제한 사항이 있습니다.  13세 십대도 사유지 내에서 운전할 수 있지만 공공 도로에서는 운전할 수 없습니다.  운전 시험 비용은 경자동차의 경우 62유로이며 트럭, 버스 및 자동차 비용은 차량마다 다릅니다. 또한 영국에서 유효한 국제 운전 면허증을 소지하고 국제 운전 면허증을 소지해야 합니다. 필요한 모든 서류, 여권, 구여권 등을 휴대해야 합니다.

영국에서 안전벨트는 필수입니다. 안전 벨트를 착용해야 하며, 그렇지 않으면 100유로의 벌금이 부과될 수 있습니다. 14세 미만의 어린이와 함께 안전 벨트 없이 여행하는 경우 벌금으로 500유로가 부과됩니다. 팔 아래에 안전 벨트를 착용해서는 안됩니다. 그렇게 안전벨트를 매면 100유로의 벌금이 부과될 수 있습니다. 3세 미만의 어린이는 안전벨트를 착용할 필요가 없습니다.  아이의 키가 135cm이면 안전벨트를 착용해야 합니다.
